What is Workplace Resources?

WORKPLACE RESOURCES is a Toledo and Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan based organization.  Our local orientation is one of our strong points.  We are familiar with, and have relationships with, people at virtually all of Northwest Ohio’s community resources.  Our staff is primarily Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan trained; most interned locally.  We have worked at area hospitals, agencies, universities, and treatment centers.

 

We at WORKPLACE RESOURCES have been careful to engage competent, well-respected associates who are, at minimum, Masters level with state licensure/certification.  They all have significant experience with employee assistance programs and/or outpatient mental health services. 

 

We began as an Employee Assistance provider with a specialty in high risk, high stress occupations, such as fire and rescue, emergency medical services, and law enforcement.  We believe the lessons we learned in emergency services; speed, accuracy, good judgment, and careful planning, combined with clinical skills, have served our clients well as we have grown to include healthcare, industry, and government customers.

 

WORKPLACE RESOURCES is a freestanding, independent limited liability company.  We provide no services outside of those EAP services identified in contracts with our client companies.

 

As a private sector independent EAP provider, WORKPLACE RESOURCES has no external restrictions, extra-governmental regulations, or additional agency/corporate divisions to support.  This greatly reduces any possibility of conflict of interest.  As a company owned by only one individual, we are able to quickly respond to the needs of our clients, without additional decision-making or regulatory boards or levels of administration.  EAP credibility derives largely from independence.
